Recently a client brought in a new kitten they had acquired from a local farm. When the animal was taken out of the kennel, I noticed the animal had 4 ear pinnae. On exam, it was found that the second set of ears had no canals, and did not communicate with the original canals. I have seen my fair share of birth defects, but this one was new to me. The cat was normal otherwise, with no other defects noted. I found this so interesting that I wanted to share a picture of this cat with thew public.
