This animal is an 8 year old mid sized Labrador Retriever and was presented to the clinic with an unsteady gait and possible seizure activity reported by the owner. The Referring veterinarian suspected possible brain tumor and wanted an MRI. As you can see from the MRI pictures, the tumor is large and progressed. The unfortunate thing about this tumor is that it was in a non-surgical area of the brain. The radiologist made a diagnosis of either a glioma or astrocytoma based the image and tumor location. After diagnosis this animal had to be managed with medical treatment.
